Refund & Return Policy
1. Order Cancellation & Refunds
- Customers may cancel their order or pre-order; however, a 20% cancellation fee will apply. The refund will cover only 80% of the total order price, due to transaction fees and site maintenance costs.
- Customers may choose to receive a full refund in store credit, which can be used on our website.
2. Supplier Delays & Stock Errors
- If an item is postponed by the supplier, the same refund rules as above apply.
- If a stock error occurs on our part or our supplier’s, you will receive a full refund of your order.
3. Orders Rejected at Customs (International Shipments, Including the EU)
For shipments outside of Japan, the buyer is responsible for import taxes, duties, and customs fees upon delivery.
- If the buyer refuses the package due to customs fees, no refund will be issued for shipping costs or the product itself.
- If the package is returned to the sender, only the product cost will be refunded, minus shipping and any return fees charged by the carrier.
- If the package cannot be returned, no refund will be issued.
- We strongly recommend checking your country’s customs regulations before placing an order.
4. Returns & Exchanges
- If your return request is accepted, we will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions.
- Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
- Customers must contact us at ryujinjapan@gmail.com before returning any item.
5. Damages & Defective Items
- Customers must inspect their order upon receipt and report any damages, defects, or incorrect items within 7 days.
- To process a claim, please send clear photos/videos of the issue to our email.
- Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement or refund.
6. Non-Returnable Items
- Custom items, perishable goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, and gases cannot be returned.
- Sale items and gift cards are non-refundable.
7. Quality Issues & Non-Conformity Claims
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- The buyer assumes all risks associated with return shipping.
- Failure to follow the return procedure may result in the rejection of any claim for product defects or non-conformity.
